Water Leak Detection System for Off-Site Structures
Often it’s easy to find a water leak. A puddle on the floor is obvious. However, a water leak in an off-site structure can easily go unnoticed. If left unnoticed a leak can lead to a big unexpected repair bill. Protect your off-site facilities with a Water Alert® water leak detection system so you can avoid unexpected leaks.
Some of our water leak sensors, such as the SS-4, can be used to send an alert to a remote panel or building management system. In addition our systems can be configured to turn off a valve, or other electronic device, to prevent water damage immediately.
Water Alert® SS-4 & Water Alert® SS-2100
Our Model SS-4 and Model SS-2100 water leak detectors are both excellent choices for low-traffic areas. Choosing between them depends on your specific needs.
- Select a Model SS-4 detector when a local audible alarm is not needed, but when a tie-in to an existing alarm panel or Building Management System is desired. It has self-resetting dry relay contacts that transfer and hold when activated, and it is also ideal for extremely harsh environments and can control valves, pumps, and other electrical equipment.
- Model SS-2100 detectors are used when there is not an existing monitor panel. These detectors are used in conjunction with our Series 2100 Water Alert Monitor panels. For structures without an existing alarm panel, the 2100 detectors and monitors can provide a full solution. The 2100 Series monitor panels are capable of powering, monitoring, and testing from 6 to 40 SS-2100 detectors, depending on model.
